Amerimax Building Products, Inc. is a premier supplier of aluminum, steel, fiberglass, and laminated products for the transportation, building products, recreational vehicle, and architectural industries. With two coil coating facilities and six metal fabrication facilities strategically located in the United States, Amerimax can more effectively control quality and lead times, allowing the customer to manage inventory more efficiently.
Painted Aluminum and Steel
From painting to fabrication, Amerimax is committed to providing superior quality metal solutions, professional customer service, and outstanding value. Amerimax produces single or multiple coatings, precision painted graphics, slitting and embossing to the customer’s specifications. Our focus is on rapid turnaround for just-in-time orders.

Wide Painted Aluminum
Amerimax also supplies aluminum coil and sheet up to 103.5” in width. Wide aluminum is ideal for sidewalls, roofs, partitions, and more because it maximizes material purchases by eliminating unnecessary seams, labor, and scrap.

Metal Fabrication
Amerimax specializes in fabricating aluminum and light gauge steel for the truck and trailer, bus, emergency vehicle, horse trailer, and recreational vehicle markets. Aluminum sheets, wall panels, trim pieces, and accessories are manufactured to the customer’s specifications.
AluFiber®
With continued demand on the transportation industry to optimize the functional characteristics of its bodywork, Amerimax developed AluFiber® fiberglass reinforced aluminum coil and sheet to provide a light weight, durable, aesthetically pleasing, and cost effective alternative to traditional exterior cladding solutions.
AluFiber® fuses fiberglass reinforced plastic to light-gauge aluminum, providing customers with sidewall and roofing solutions with the following advantages:
- Reduced dent sensitivity
- Improved flatness (reduced telegraphing)
- Superior strength-to-weight ratio
- High UV resistance (non-yellowing)
- Low dirt adhesion resulting in easier cleaning
- Smooth surface with multiple coating options
AluFiber® is available in coil and sheet form in .051” and .099” thicknesses and up to 101.2” in width.
Laminated Panel Solutions
Laminated panels provide lightweight solutions to traditional construction, while maximizing strength and structural integrity. Every bond line of a laminated panel adds strength to the panel. Therefore, lightweight materials can be combined to achieve the desired strength-to-weight ratio.
Utilizing a reactive hot-melt system, Amerimax can laminate panels up to 110” by 50’ long, which is ideal for sidewall, flooring, and roofing applications.
Composite Wall and Floor Systems
Amerimax leverages its expertise in lamination technology to take laminated panels to the next level by structurally engineering one-piece composite wall and floor systems. These are comprised of specified materials laminated together to provide finished products that meet customer requirements for strength, weight, and installation.
The finished product contains pre-installed wiring, backer plates, support beams, or channels as specified. This results in a reduction of scrap and labor from the installation process.
Continuous improvement is part of the Amerimax commitment to quality and service. Internal engineers, the CAD department, and the production department utilize automated CNC routers, an overhead laser guiding system, and an on-site quality assurance lab to ensure customer specifications are met without variance.
